The Music Room

This structure is 28' x 56', a size chosen to minimize tree removal.  It also has a lower level.  Both levels have ten foot side walls.  The organ floor is four feet lower than the main floor.  On the lower level, a work shop area and guest quarters have full ceiling height, but the area under the organ is only six feet high.  It is good enough for storage and the roll recording laboratory.

While the music room appears as a low profile, it is in fact three stories high at the rear elevation.  The front foundation of the building is a massive retaining wall that holds back the swimming pool.
