Dr. Wiley McVicker- Large/Small Animals

Owner & Veterinarian of Large & Small Animals

Graduate of Univ. of Mo. College of Veternary Medicine in 1977.  Cooper County resident since 1979. Dr. McVicker lives on a small farm with dogs, cat, donkey, cattle, sheep, & chickens. Family includes a wife-Mary Ellen, 2 children-Laura & Todd.  Dr. McVicker & family are members of Nelson Memorial United Methodist Church

Dr. Debra Upham- Small Animals

Veterinarian of Small Animals, specializing in allergy patients.

Joining Boonslick Animal Hospital in July 04.  Graduated in May  at SFCC then started looking for a new career and a new pet.  Found a new pet and it just so happened Dr. McVicker was looking to fill a job position. Family includes husband-Mick, 3 daughters-Jessica, Amanda & Stephanie, also includes 1 toy poodle.
Manages customer service, bookkeeping, computers, and fills in where and when needed. Please feel free to call with any billing, invoicing, or questions about products .

Kim Murphy, Technician

Kim has been with Boonslick Animal Hospital for 4 years.  Kim is full time technician.  She is Dr. Upham's right hand person.  She knows what is needed before requested.  Like two peas & pod they just go together.  Family includes 1 son-Ethan..

Teria Chick,  Part-Time Vet. Assistant

Teria is our part -time assistant after school & walks, feeds, waters our boarders and takes care of them; whatever might be needed.  Family includes, mom, dad , 1 brother & several pets.

Emma Freeman, Part-Time Housekeeper

Emma serves as a big part of our team, she comes in 3 days a week to keep our building  in tip top shape from windows to floors, she does it all. Family includes 1 son, & 1 dog.

Mary Lou Gibbs, Part-Time Groomer

Mary Lou has been grooming at Boonslick Animal Hospital for 9 yrs. Family includes several pets.
