This piece was designed for a client who needed a special birthday present for her daughter. I had done some other pieces with this star motif for the same person, and so incorporated it into her quilt rack. The whole piece is solid red oak and oak plywood, and the inlay is done in red oak, red cedar and black cherry. The entire piece is a little over 36" wide and about 10" deep, but could be made larger or smaller, depending upon your needs.
