Dear Ryan,
I am so proud of you Ryan.
I'm proud of you for being responsible, for working so hard, for being a wonderful
son. But mostly I'm proud of the kind of father you were. You were so good to
Zane and Mazey. I don't know how you managed all the responsibility you had, but I
know you always put Zane & Mazey first and you took such good care of
them. Ryan, they love you so much. They will never forget you and they
will always know how much you loved them. Please don't worry about
them. I promise you son, we will take good care of them. You will always be my
precious baby boy. You will always live in my heart and I will never stop loving
you. I pray that you are resting in peace. I miss you, son.

Dear Ryan,
I consider myself to be a really lucky individual to have had the honor of knowing you.
You were always such a sweet little boy. Well, sweet most of the time, and nerve wracking
too! You loved to come into whatever room Shelly and I might be in and make your presence
known. But we really enjoyed every minute of it. You come from a wonderful family, and I
will always keep them in my prayers.
You made a tremedous mark on this earth, but God was ready for you to come and I can't say
I blame Him....you are truly a blessed angel. Now, you watch over your family, let them
feel your presence. They will always need you, and I just hope that they can regain the
strength to know that you will always be there with them. They are the lucky ones, they
have angel who will always be on their side!
God bless you and your family,
Forever in Christ, Valerie

Ryan
I don't even know where to start.
First of all I want to thank you for bringing two wonderful children into my life. Zane
and Mazey are so much a part of me now I can't remember how my life was before I met you.
You taught me so much about life. I feel so blessed to have had you in my life. I have so
many wonderful memories of you. I will never forget your smile, the way you looked at you
kids, or your sensitive eyes as we danced across your living room. And I vividly remember
the look you had on your face the first time you met my parents. I love the sweet way you
would never ask me for anything, you would just hint around untill I picked up the hints.
I would give anything just to see your face, touch you and talk to you for just two
minutes. I miss you so much. I want you to know how greatful I am to you, not only for
bringing two wonderful kids into my life, but also a wonderful family. Your Mom and Dad
are the best. They treat me like I'm part of the family. Shelly and Ricci are great, she
is the sister I never had. And Zane and Mazey, well, they are like my own babies. I love
them so much. I see so much of you in both of them. They will be part of my life forever.
I only wish it could have been the way I planned. What a great family we would have been.
Just know, no matter where my life may lead, you will always be in my heart. Love never
dies!!!!! I LOVE YOU RYAN!!!!
Yours always, Jenny Elledge

Ryan,
You are truly
"An Angel Among Us". You were a loving and caring father who devoted his life to
his precious babies, Mazey and Zane. I'll always remember your warm and friendly
smile the day I brought over Mazey and Zane's Christmas presents. You welcomed me into
your home and Don and I into your life after knowing us for only a short time. That's the
kind of person you were. We want to thank you for allowing us to also become a big part of
Mazey and Zane's live's. We love those babies and think of them as our own grandchildren.
They will always live deep in our hearts, as will you. You touched our lives in a way that
no one else ever has and because of that we will never forget you and always love you. In
this fast- paced world full of trials, tribulations and hardships, you, Ryan were truly a
role model.
We love you and miss you,
Don and Mary Elledge

Hi Ryan,
I wrote you a letter after I found out
that you were dead. I could not believe it was true. I wrote that letter about all of my
special memories of you. I want you to know that I continue to think about you everyday. I
hope you know this I hope you can feel it every time I think about you. You are so
special to me. We never got to be as close as I would have liked. We were special friends
when we were kids and then my mom and I moved out here to Oregon. I never forgot about you
I always hoped that I would move back and I would be able to have that friendship. I hope
to always keep your alive, not just with me but with my friends and with my children. They
never got to meet you but I have told them about you. I hope that our children will be
friends.
Were you there when I had dreams about
you. You seemed so scared in those dreams. I hope that you are at peace now. You will
always be a special part of my life and you will always hold a special place in my heart.
Love forever and ever,
your cousin Christy

Ryan,
I never knew you and only met your
mother in the last year since your death. But, I saw your children, Zane and Mazey, out
with your sister the other day. They truly are beautiful children. Also, I wanted to say
that you should feel good about the caring, loving family members who are taking care of
them for you until they can be with you again. Although they have suffered a terrible
loss, they couldn't ask for anything more than the loving family they have in your parents
and your sister. Watch over them and say a little prayer for all of them now and then, and
I'm sure Zane and Mazey will grow up to be a handsome young man and a beautiful young
lady, with plenty of love in their hearts for their dad and their wonderful family.
God Bless You All.

Dear Ryan,
I am thinking about you today...our daughters 5th birthday. I know that you are
watching her probably with the same wonderful smile that was on your face the day she was
born...five years ago today. You were a wonderful daddy to Zane and Mazey. And
a wonderful person...I will love you forever.....please take care until we meet
again...Melissa

| RyRy, Another Xmas without you and we miss you so much. I hope you can see
the kids. Everytime they have a celebration or a special achievement I think of how
proud you would be. They are getting so big and they are so precious. The kids
have memories of you that they share often. Sometimes, these memories just pop up
out of the blue and make us cry for you. Zanes remembers how you used to eat french
fries - a handful at a time - and how you held him when a scary movie was on TV. His
favorite memory is how they would wake you in the morning by jumping on you and you would
give them a big bear hug. He misses you. Mazey remembers you feeding her and
she talks about standing at the door waiting for you to come home from work. She was
so little when you left us but she still remembers how much you loved her.
Your family and friends are so good to Zane & Mazey.
I know there is no greater gift they can give you than to be there for your
children.
Your absence at Xmas will be on our minds. I love
you so much son. Tell Scotty how much we love him and miss him and take care of baby
Amelia. As much as you love kids, I just have this feeling she is with you.
Give my love to Poppy, Grandma, Grandpa and Duane.
Mama
